“Following the deadly Hammanskraal accident that occurred between Pumulani Plaza and Wallmansthal on Friday, I believe that we need a new paradigm shift to reduce the fatalities on our roads,” said public transport and roads infrastructure MEC Jacob Mamabolo.
He said that the Department of Transport in conjunction with all five municipalities in the province met on Friday in a bid to find solutions that will make Gauteng roads safe and less congested.
