A Centurion beautician who died in a car accident on Saturday morning, will be laid to rest on Friday.

Her family said the funeral service for Loudene Richards (24) would be held at the Sorex Estate Chapel at 14:00.

Loudene was involved in the accident on the N1 highway just before the John Vorster Drive off-ramp in Centurion around 02:30, when her vehicle reportedly overturned.

The cause of the accident was unclear.

Loudene’s cousin Samantha Potgieter described her as someone who “breathed life” into their family.

“She was someone who was always full of hope and love for those around her,” Potgieter told Rekord.

“The family are devastated and shocked by her death.”

Potgieter said Loudene had been planning on giving nail and beauty classes at her place of work.

“She had actually been involved in the launch of the project the day before her accident.”

Her mother, Dina, said Loudene would always be remembered for living her life to the fullest.

“Maybe she was taken from us too early and maybe not,” she said.

“I believe the Almighty is in control and we find peace in knowing that.”

Erika Davis Academy where Loudene worked said: “We are devastated by the loss of our friend and colleague, Loudene.

“She was so excited about the launch of her own nail brand of products and training. She will be deeply missed by all of us and all her loyal clients.

“Our sincere condolences to her two beautiful kids, family and friends.”

Loudene is survived by her seven-year-old son, her three-year-old daughter, her mother, father, two brothers and two sisters.
