NOTICE: Tshwane customer care down for maintenance
The work will last from 08:00 to 16:00 and includes the replacement of generators at a data centre.

The Tshwane metro’s customer care system will be down on Saturday as a result of maintenance.
The work will last from 08:00 to 16:00 and includes the replacement of generators at a data centre.
“In order to ensure the safety of workers and highly-sensitive equipment, the metro is compelled to completely shut down power supply to the facility,” said metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo.
“All of the metro’s customer care services will be affected during this time.”
Services that are going to be affected included reporting of power failures, sewage blockages as well as water meter and water pipe leakages.
“Residents will only be able to use the SMS line (082-612-0333) for reporting of power failure complaints,” Mashigo said.
“Due to an anticipated backlog, residents can expect delays on the turn-around time of calls logged this way.”
Mashigo said the metro apologised for the inconvenience and urge residents to remain patient.
