WEATHER: Hot week expected for Pretoria
Temperatures are expected to peak between 31°C and 33°C.
Pretorians can look forward to a hot week with temperatures peaking between 31°C and 33°C.
Temperatures are expected to cool down on Thursday while Friday is expected to be cold with a maximum of only 22°C, according to SA Weather Service forecaster Edward Engelbrecht.
“On Sunday, temperatures started at a minimum of 16°C and will reach a maximum of 34°C,” Engelbrecht said.
Meanwhile, isolated thunderstorms were forecast for large parts of central Southern Africa.
“We anticipate isolated thunderstorms to affect Pretoria on Sunday and Monday afternoons despite the high temperatures,” Engelbrecht said.
“Isolated thunderstorms are also forecast for Thursday evening.”
