Mystery still surrounds a missing person’s case in the west of Pretoria.
“There is still no news or developments in the case,” said uncle of Madimetja France Legong (33), Johannes.
Madimetja from Atteridgeville was last heard from on 1 November 2018.
His uncle from Kalafong Heights told Rekord that there was no new news, adding that the family were despondent.
“We just want to know where he is and if he is okay,” he said.
He said that it was “unlike” his nephew to disappear at random.
“He is actually a very down-to-earth kind of guy and normally very shy,” he said.

“Which is why his sudden disappearance has me concerned. It is not like him at all.”
He said they opened a missing person’s case at the Pretoria West police station on 6 November.
“We first tried to see if we could not find him before we opened the case,” he said.
On the day of his disappearance, Madimetja was set to go to Limpopo for the wedding of his cousin so had asked permission to leave work early.
Madimetja worked for RCL in Pretoria West.
“I’m hoping that the spread of the news of his disappearance will work,” he said.
“Somewhere someone will see it and know where he is.”

He said they have searched “everywhere” for him.
Johannes offered a R20 000 reward for information that could lead him to his nephew.
“Please, if you know something about [his] whereabouts, come forward and provide us with more information,” he said.
He said any information, no matter how small should be given through.
“We just want to know what happened and where he is,” he said.
Alternatively, the Pretoria West police should be contacted on 012-327-4909/08 and ask for Constable Sibongile Vuma.
Tips could also be given to the police anonymously.
