WEATHER: Thundershowers expected for Pretoria on Thursday
Summer is officially in full swing so the first thunderstorm of the new season is expected to hit Pretoria on Thursday afternoon.

Summer is officially in full swing so the first thunderstorm of the new season is expected to hit Pretoria on Thursday afternoon.
“There is a 60 percent chance of severe thundershowers to hit Pretoria in the afternoon, but the weather will remain hot with a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius,” said SA weather service forecaster Kgoloseno Mahlangu.
Friday, was expected to be cooler with a minimum of 14 degrees C and a maximum of 26 degrees C.
“People can expect to see a 30 percent chance of thundershowers in the afternoon,” Mahlangu said.
Saturday, will be warm and dry with no chance of rain.

“A minimum of 15 degrees C and a maximum of 30 degrees C can be expected.
“The weekend will come to an end with little chance of thundershowers in the afternoon,” Mahlangu said.
“A 30 percent chance of thundershowers can be expected with a minimum of 15 degrees C and a maximum of 30 later in the day,” Mahlangu said.
