West dad held for murder of son (6)
The suspect known to be the father of the child was arrested in Burgersfort in Limpopo where he fled to.

A father has been arrested for allegedly killing his six-year-old son in Atteridgeville.
After the body of a boy was found last week, the Atteridgeville police duo of Sergeant Lebohang Monareng and Constable Daniel Sambo launched an intensive investigation to find the suspect, said police spokesperson Mapula Rikhotso.
“The suspect, known to be the father of the deceased child, was arrested in Burgersfort in Limpopo where he had fled to. A collaboration between the police and the family was helpful, leading to the arrest of a suspect on Tuesday,” she said.
Rikhotso said the man was in police custody pending his bail application.
Atteridgeville station commander Brigadier Abraham Mbangwa Nkhwashu was elated about the arrest, saying the police would continue to ensure that residents felt safe in their own neighbourhood.
