Four more performances added for Marvel Universe Live

Extra Marvel Universe Live! performances due to popular demand

Due to high demand, new performances for Marvel Universe Live! have been added for Saturday 8 February at 11:00, 15:00 and 19:00 and one extra show on Sunday, February 9.

Packed to the brim with some of Marvel’s most popular superheroes and villains, this new live performance is unlike anything fans have ever seen before, according to the show’s organisers

“It has excitement, thrills and drama,” said Marvel Universe Live! publicist Debra de Souza.

The show will hit South Africa in just a few weeks, performing only in the Sun Arena at Time Square Menlyn Maine, Pretoria from January 24 to February 8.

Produced by Feld entertainment, Marvel Universe Live! is presented by local promoter Showtime Management in association with Supersport and FNB.

Marvel Universe Live! combines state of the art special effect with the latest in robotics, stunt work and technology to create a live performance that will leave fans astounded,” said De Souza.

“In a first for South Africa, 25 fan-favourite Marvel characters including Spider-man, The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy will take the audience on an incredible sensory over load of non-stop superhero action from all over the Marvel universe.

“Throughout the journey, families will be transfixed by the gravity-defying aerial stunts of Spider-man and Wasp, the fast-paced motorcycle skills of Captain America and Black Widow and the daring athleticism of Black Panther and Iron Fist as they face notable villains including Green Goblin, Black Cat and Rhino.

“Featuring big screens movie style stunts that are brought to life before the audience’s eyes this adventure is not be missed.”

The production uses strobe lighting, lasers, pyrotechnics, fire and smoke along with substantial sound effects.
