
It was an evening of festivities as Hoërskool Waterkloof officially welcomed Grade 8 pupils on Thursday.
The pupils took to the stage to entertain their parents and schoolmates with different activities during the concert. The night was all about having fun and showcasing their talents on stage.
A total of 444 Grade 8 pupils enrolled at Klofies this year.
The prefects coached the Grade 8s to wonderful choreography. Following the concert, the prefects of 2020, handed the newbies Klofies’ official blazers.

Headmaster Chris Denysschen said that the school was excited to see what the next five years would entail for the Grade 8 pupils.
“Participating in the concert is the first lesson of becoming a true Klofie. It is all about the child’s participation in school activities. I would like to welcome the parents to the Klofie family. We want to ensure a successful future for every individual. This year, we will cross all borders to ensure a bright future.”

On Friday, Waterkloof will compete in the AHS/AHMP athletics meeting at AHS.
