Three schools recently participated in a chess tournament for the Inter-Curro Chess Trophy 2020; Curro Roodeplaat, Curro Hazeldean and Curro Edenvale. Each school presented a mixed u.9, u.11 and u.13 team, consisting out of six players per team.
The event was a first for Curro Primary Schools in Gauteng. The second leg of the tournament will take place in term 2 and the third and final leg in term 3.
Curro Hazeldean players performed extremely well and won all the team games.
