Severe thunderstorms, hail predicted for Pretoria tonight
Around 14:30, isolated large hail, damaging winds and heavy falls were moving to Magaliesburg, Randfontein and Krugersdorp areas.
The SA Weather Service has issued a watch for severe thunderstorms warning across Gauteng.
Forecaster Wayne Venter said the thunderstorms might produce heavy downpours possible over Pretoria on Tuesday evening.
“We are expecting heavy rainfall, damaging winds and hail across the province (Gauteng),” he said.
Around 14:30, isolated large hail, damaging winds and heavy falls were moving to Magaliesburg, Randfontein and Krugersdorp areas.
Venter said thunderstorms were only predicted for Tuesday.
He said it would be clear on Wednesday.
