SANDF confirms Covid-19 cases
SANDF: "None of them are uniformed members or deployed in support of the SAPS."

The SANDF said it has identified quarantine and isolation facilities for the military community in preparation for the anticipated overflow in military hospitals and sickbays in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
This after four of SANDF members tested positive for the coronavirus.
The Surgeon General of the SANDF, Zola Dabula, confirmed the cases within the military community on Tuesday in a statement.
The SANDF said three of the four cases were from the Western Cape and one from Gauteng.
“None of them are uniformed members or deployed in support of the SAPS,” it said.
“We would like to emphasise that the military community is part of the broader South African population; thus, the SANDF is not immune from the spread of the virus.”

Other preventative measures adapted, included thermal screening, hand sanitising and wearing of surgical masks.
