North woman aims to create a safe hygieniccommunity
"As the coronavirus became a life-threatening virus, which needs to be prevented from spreading, I thought of ways on how I can help people stay hygienic."

Almost every name has a great meaning and most of the time people live to do justice to their names.
Mmabatho Tshwiane, whose name means “mother of the people”, is such a woman.
She is from Soshanguve and recently gave out 500 masks and sanitisers to her community for free.
She runs a beauty and design shop and describes herself as a social entrepreneur who is very creative and committed to give back to the community.
Tshwiane voluntarily created masks and gave them to the community.
“As the coronavirus became a life-threatening virus, which needs to be prevented from spreading, I thought of ways on how I can help people stay hygienic,” she said.
“I realised most people from my community could no longer afford food as result of the lockdown and that made me wonder how they will be able to afford to keep healthy and clean all the time. I hope the donated masks and sanitiser will ease the burden of many families and help when the people go out or go to shops,” said Tshwiane.
“I encouraged the community to stay safe at all times so they could avoid increasing the spread of coronavirus.”
Tshwiane said she was also part of the group who donated and distributed food parcels to different communities and households during the Goodwill donation drive.
“During the drive we educated the community about the importance of personal hygiene and the safety measures they should take when going out,” she said.
“My aim is to help community members who are in need during this time and to encourage them to always protect themselves.”
