Cyclist dies in Clubview collision
“A man was declared dead on the scene following a collision with a vehicle.”
A cyclist died on Friday afternoon in Clubview, Centurion following a collision with a vehicle.
The accident happened on Wierda Road near the N14 highway, according to CERT-SA spokesperson Ruan Heyns.
“A man was declared dead on the scene.”
Heyns said the cyclist sustained facial and head injuries.
The driver of the vehicle sustained no injuries.
“Police launched an investigation into the exact circumstances surrounding the incident,” Heyns said.
He thanked Monitor Net, TMPD and Tshwane Metropolitan Fire Department for their assistance on the scene.
