Schools ready for learners’ return
As grade 7 and 12 learners from Pretoria gear up to return to school on Monday, some schools took to social media to share their readiness against Covid-19.
As grade 7 and 12 Pretoria learners are gearing up to return to school on Monday, some schools took to social media and other platforms to share their readiness against Covid-19 with the public.
One such a school was Hoërskool Oos-Moot, who shared the procedure that would be followed when entering their premises.
The video provides a step-by-step guideline for learners to follow when they return to school.
Another video shared by the school showed the proper way to sanitise hands.

Another school in the Moot, Hoërskool Wonderboom, said they were also ready for learners to return on Monday.
They would combat the virus in five simple steps.

In the north of Pretoria, Hoërskool Pretoria-Noord shared all the measures they have taken as learners was set to return to school.

Among others, their school has been completely cleaned and they have also established an isolation room.

In the east of Pretoria, Hoërskool Menlo Park shared a video of the school-grounds in anticipation of learners’ return.
The caption of the video read: “We are ready for the return of our learners because our home is where our heart is.”

They also shared an informative letter on their Facebook page regarding Covid-19 and regulations to follow.
In Centurion, Hoërskool Uitsig shared pictures this week stating that staff at Uitsig High came masked to brainstorm and plan their Covid-19 preparedness for the return of the grade 12s.
Learners would also be screened upon entering the school grounds.
