Man hit by truck while crossing Centurion freeway
He sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on the scene.
A man was killed when he was hit by a truck in Centurion on Monday.
It is believed that he was crossing the R21 highway near Nellmapius Drive around 05:48, said Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst.
“Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male was struck down by a truck while running across the road,” he said.
Herbst said the man sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on the scene.
