Pedestrian dies in Queenswood accident

A pedestrian died after being hit by a motorbike in Queenswood on Friday evening.

Medi-Edge Community EMS said in a statement the accident happened on the corner of Grant and Barrett streets at about 18:45.

Due to the extent of his injuries the pedestrian died on the scene.

“Another patient sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital,” Medi-Edge said.
