Pretoria woman arrested for boyfriend’s murder
The victim's lifeless body was found under a bed in his home by his brother.
A 22-year-old woman has been arrested in Pretoria for the alleged murder of her 36-year-old boyfriend.
Details surrounding the incident, which reportedly happened in Du Toit Street in the CBD, are limited at this stage.
Police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubele said the victim’s lifeless body was found by his brother on the night of 18 June.
“The brother, who had been unable to reach the victim on his phone, reportedly visited the victim’s home.
“There it is reported that he found the victim’s lifeless body under a bed. The victim’s girlfriend was also still at the house.
“The victim had fatal injuries to his upper body.
“Police were called to the scene and arrested the woman after she could not explain the circumstances that led to the victim’s demise.”
The woman is expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
