North water supply to be interrupted

Residents in some northern parts of Tshwane can expect a two-day water interruption from Tuesday, as Rand Water upgrades their local bulk water infrastructure.

A notice sent to residents by the Tshwane metro advised them to store water for that period.

Region 1 residents who get their water from the Akasia, Klip-Kruisfontein, Magalies/Rosslyn, Soshanguve DD and Soshanguve LL reservoirs can expect to be affected.

“The two-day pressing shutdown is from today (4 August) until tomorrow (5 August) between 05:00 and 21:00 on both days,” said spokesperson Lindela Mashigo.
