Mom, child injured in east head-on collision

A motorist and her child were rushed to hospital after being involved in a head-on collision in Pretoria east on Friday afternoon.

Both had to be taken to Life Groenkloof hospital after the collision in Rubenstein Drive.

VEMRU paramedics’ Casper Visser said the collision happened just before 16:00 on Friday.

“The driver and her child were transported to hospital by medical services after sustaining minor injuries,” said Visser.

Authorities were on the scene to investigate the exact cause of the accident.
