Rain expected in Pretoria this week, as temperatures plummet

The SA Weather Service says Pretoria residents should brace for rainy weather this week. “Most parts of Gauteng are set to experience a significant drop in temperature from Wednesday, going into Thursday, said weather forecaster Lulama Pheme said. “For Monday, we are expecting fine weather conditions with a maximum of 28°C. “A minimum of 12°C and a maximum of 28°C is predicted for Tuesday, with partly cloudy conditions,” Pheme said. For Thursday and Friday, Pretoria will be cooler with temperatures peaking in the low 20s,” he said. “A 30% chance of rain is predicted for Pretoria for Thursday and Friday,” Pheme said. At the weekend, the weather service predicted temperatures in Pretoria were to remain warm this week, ranging from 30°C to 31°C, with no chance of any rainfall predicted yet,” a forecaster told Rekord. https://twitter.com/SAWeatherServic/status/1310432814848974849 Reacting to this, Hannelee Doubell of the SA Weather Service communications, said weather systems changed “very quickly and within 24 hours things can change drastically”. “The further in the future, the lesser the accuracy.
