One person died and four others were injured, following a head-on collision on the N4 near Solomon Mahlangu Drive on Monday morning.
Upon arrival, medics found a man who was fatally injured and declared dead on the scene, said Vemru paramedics spokesperson Casper Visser.
He had to be freed using the Jaws of Life.

“Two people sustained critical injuries and were transported under advanced life support care to a nearby hospital, while the other two patients sustained minor injuries,” he said.
Visser said the cause of the accident was unknown
