One in critical condition after Centurion accident

One pedestrian was critically injured and taken to the hospital after an accident in Centurion.
Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit (Vermu) spokesperson Tammy Visser said the accident happened around 14:00 on the R21 highway in Pierre van Ryneveld Park, Centurion.
“The pedestrian was left in a critical condition after being struck by a car. The patient sustained multiple injuries, including head and chest injuries and was transported in a critical condition to a nearby hospital.”
Netcare911, ER24, EmerGmed, City of Tshwane ambulance, SAPS and TMPD were also on scene.
