Two arrested over drug possession

“Drug dealers are not welcome in Lyttelton."

Two people were arrested for alleged drug possession in the Lyttelton policing precinct on Wednesday.

“The suspects were found in possession of cat and crystal meth,” police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller said.

This after station commander Brigadier TP Mathlala urged officers to tighten their grip on criminal elements operating in the area.

Miller further said members of their roving team were acting on a tip-off when they made the arrest.

“Drug dealers are not welcome in the Lyttelton policing area,” Miller said.
