Patrons continue to support bumper north family market

The market started with only 20 stalls a year and six months ago and continues to grow.

The Pretoria Noord Boeremark, held at the Hillside Golf course in Ninapark, once again attracted people from all walks of life this past weekend.

One of the organisers Githea Landsberg said exhibitors were up early on Saturday morning, to set up their stalls and fill them with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, pastries and beautiful handcraft items.

“The market has been open for a year and six months, and was dedicated to the name of the Lord, whereby we as a family open and close the market with prayer,” said Landsberg.

“We opened the market to give back to the community and we have the privilege of having Amadea Children home and Huis Benjamin as part of our market.”

The market started with only 20 stalls but continues to grow.

Landsberg said Saturday’s market offered fresh fruit and vegetables, a variety of breads, coffee, ready-to-eat food, fresh meat, handmade products, cheese and other dairy products, arts and crafts, clothing, decor “and so much more”.

The Pretoria Noord Boeremark also offered entertainment for children while moms and dads enjoyed something to eat while listening to the live music.

The market will also start offering an evening editions from towards the end of November.
