How much rain did Pretoria record?
Heavy rainfall in Pretoria wreaked havoc and more rainfall is expected for most of the weekend, with forecasters saying the worst of it was over.

With the havoc wrecked in Pretoria on Friday the much needed rain saw some areas getting more rain than others.
Even though more rain is expected in the region, forecasters said the worst was over.
The heavy fall caused flooding in some areas leaving homes, bridges and a shopping complex damaged.

Forecaster Kholofelo Mahlangu said 60% of rain was still expected in Pretoria for Saturday.
“It should be raining in some parts of Tshwane, the northern parts especially,” she said.
“And more rain will come in parts in the afternoon.”
Mahlangu said Saturday’s rain did not seem to be as destructive as Friday’s and was likely to come in light showers.
On Sunday there was also a 60% chance of rain in Pretoria throughout the morning and afternoon and it should clear out throughout the evening.
