KFC Castle Gate opens new store in Pretoria

In a bid to spread the joy that chicken brings, KFC has opened a brand new restaurant at Castle Gate Lifestyle Centre on 26 November 2020.
KFC Waterkloof located in Cliff Street closes its doors on 22 November 2020 and relocates to the Castle Gate Lifestyle Centre at the corner of van Ryneveld Avenue and Solomon Mahlangu Drive in Erasmus Park, Pretoria. You can expect quality service at KFC Castle Gate, with a convenient drive-thru for those quick in-and-out orders. Also on offer is front counter service as well as click & collect and delivery on Uber Eats and MrD Food.
Operated by the Gunret Foods franchise, KFC Castle Gate is in great hands. The Gunret Foods franchise is a multiple award-winning company that is well-known for its impeccable management skills and standards. In 1985, the owner, Burt Gunning, opened the first store, which was the beginning of an empire that now has 41 restaurants throughout the country.
The team at KFC Castle Gate is well-equipped for the job and ready to report for duty. With Maureen Manoko as the Area Manager, everything is sure to go according to plan. Other team members include Thabiso Motombi, a senior trainer who is responsible for upholding the global guidelines of KFC, Nthabiseng Madisha, Hellen Tshabalala, and Phuti Mashapa who are the Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager and Shift Supervisor respectively.
KFC Castle Gate anticipates opening its doors on 26 November, having undergone rigorous training to implement various health and safety guidelines. Each piece of Original Recipe Chicken is freshly prepared and hand-breaded — and of course, cooked at the perfect temperature using the famous but secret 11 herbs and spices recipe by none other than the Colonel.
The restaurant operates from 6 AM to 10 PM Sunday to Thursday, and 6 AM to 11 PM Friday to Saturday, with breakfast served from 6 AM to 10:30 AM every day.
