Erasmia police were investigating a double murder after the bodies of two men were found tied-up near Centurion on Wednesday morning.
Spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo said police received information from an anonymous caller about the two male bodies, which were found at the corner of the R511 Road and Primula Avenue.
“Police responded swiftly on the information provided and the bodies of two men were found tied-up with gunshot wounds – one in the upper body and the other in the lower,” he said.
The motive behind the killings remained unknown while investigations continued.
“Police are pleading to anyone with information which might lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the SAPS on 08600-10111 or contact their local police,” Masondo said.
