Blare of trumpets in Pretoria East

The first blare of trumpets will sound at 08:00 and then again at 12:00 and 16:00.

The top of Bronberg in the east will be a beacon calling all Christians to worship on Easter Sunday.

The religious event, Jesus is King South Africa Trumpets Call, will once again take place on Sunday 4 April.

The public is encouraged to view from the surrounding areas. The first blare of trumpets will sound at 08:00 and then again at 12:00 and 16:00.

Trumpet sounds will last for approximately five minutes and a special “Amazing Grace” recording will complete the three sessions.

Sound towers will be erected on the property of Bronberg Castle.

Organiser Albertus Potgieter said that they will be doing a global broadcasting to reach the body of Christ.

“The Holy Spirit said that nothing stops us to proceed especially on a day like today, which is the Resurrection Sunday.

“All you people of the world, you who live on the earth, when a banner is raised on the mountains, you will see it, and when the trumpet sounds, you will hear it,” said Potgieter.

He added that the aim of the event is to lift up people’s spirits.

“We need to pause and make time to listen to the Word of God.

“Some people are in a state of depression and I hope through this calling, we want to encourage people and give some inspiration to lift their spirits,” he said.

All necessary approval certificates were obtained from Tshwane metro.
