Brrrace yourselves for another cold front
The cold temperatures follow in the wake of a cold front that moved over the eastern parts of the country on Sunday evening.
The worst is not over yet as the SA Weather Service predicted another cold front next week.
Pretorians can brace themselves for another cold snap as we go out of an intense cold front which saw temperatures plunging to a minimum of 3°C.
The cold temperatures follow in the wake of a cold front that moved over the eastern parts of the country on Sunday evening, sustained by the development of a cut-off low-pressure system over the south-eastern parts of the country, SA Weather Service said earlier.
Forecaster Luthando Masimini said next week’s cold front won’t be as intense as the one we experience currently.
“It will be approaching Cape Town by Monday and is expected to make its way in the Northern regions by Wednesday. Temperatures will remain relatively low but will warm up as the day progresses,” he said.
This week, however, partly cloudy to sunny conditions are expected in Pretoria on Thursday with a high of 18°C, said Masimini.
“Going into the weekend, we can expect plenty of sunshine with temperatures remaining in the high teens.”
