“Unfortunately, nothing further could be done for him and he was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.”
A biker was killed after he lost control of his motorbike and fell off a bridge in Silverton, east of Pretoria, on Sunday afternoon.
ER24’s Ineke van Huyssteen said the biker fell off a barrier along the N4 highway, onto Pretoria Road.
“When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 14:30, they found the biker lying on the road next to the barrier,” she said.
She said it was upon further assessment by their paramedics that he was found to have sustained fatal injuries.
“Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead at the scene by paramedics,” Van Huyssteen said.
