Garsfontein police management will have elections for the sub-sector forum and CPF next month.
Dates and venues have been set for the various sectors during the month of October 2021.
Once all these structures are in place, the future CPF will only be elected for the period as prescribed.
“Therefore, we would like to invite all interested community members who can avail themselves to fill critical positions in these structures such as those of sector crime forum chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary and patroller co-ordinator.
“Prescribed nomination forms can be emailed on request to Captain Doubell at DoubellM@saps.gov.za,” a police station spokesperson said.
Completed forms needed to be handed in to Warrant Officer Lightfoot on or before the nomination dates at SAPS Garsfontein, or emailed to Garsfontein.comm@saps.gov.za
The nomination dates are set for the management to do their part in the process and to make sure all the vacancies are filled in time for the elections.

Venue: Dutch Reformed Church Valleisig, Faerie Glen.

October 28, at 18:00
Nomination date: October 21
Venue: Moreleta Park Reformed Church, Moreleta Park.
