A total of four people were arrested by the Tshwane metro police department (TMPD) in two separate incidents at the weekend.
In a statement, TMPD said its cable theft unit arrested three people in Hercules.
The trio were arrested for possession of suspected stolen property in the form of copper cables.
The fourth and final arrest was reportedly made in the Leeuwfontein area.
The person was arrested for tampering with infrastructure.
