Meet the mayoral candidate for the Patriotic Alliance Tshwane for upcoming municipal elections

The Patriotic Alliance Tshwane has announced Samson Nokete as the mayoral candidate for the upcoming municipal elections on Monday, November 1.
Tell us more about yourself
I am an activist and I joined the DA in 2015, after resigning from the ANC.
I now have a new political home in the Patriotic Alliance.
I am a young man from the streets of Soshanguve, and now I am ready to bring change in the city and restore home to every young man and woman.
Why did you join and decide to actively participate in politics?
I started serving the community at a young age within the ANC and later joined the DA.
But that was not my home and I was disturbed by the blatant continued corruption and total disregard for the people of South Africa, especially in townships where poverty, unemployment, the lack of basic service delivery; including proper health care, clean water and lack of proper safety and security is the order of the day.
Prosperity, love and one nation under the Patriotic Alliance is not a dream but a reality.
We do not need magic to change Tshwane metro, we only need our voices, my voice and your voice.
We, the people of this city have the power to remove the corrupt officials in the CoT and the entire South African government. Our votes can put an end to the suffering of our nation, of the marginalisation of minority groups, of unfair labour practices where certain groups are excluded based on race and gender.

What is your vision for the city?
The PA is the last hope for the people of South Africa.
The foundation of the PA is build on the God’s word.
Our president, Gayton Mckenzie, together with patriots countrywide vows to bring back God into every school, every municipality and government department. The PA welcomes all religions and we stand beside each other to spiritually uplift our beautiful country and to pray for our leaders to do right by our people.
What change do you hope to bring?
I will make sure that every meeting is opened and closed with prayer.
We cannot allow these injustices to continue, we must stand together for the good of our city and our nation to take us out of the desert to the promised land.
David defeated Goliath and so the Patriotic Alliance will also defeat this corrupt government and its coalitions. The alliance will defeat poverty, unemployment, racism, the marginalisation of minority groups and bring back the integrity of every citizen.
When you look at the streets of Tshwane, our roads are in poor condition, no streets lights, and the high billing of municipal rents, is too much and our parents are the ones who are paying the price.
When I take over as mayoral candidate, I will scratch all our residents’ rent and start everything from scratch.
