Mamelodi man still missing

According to some reports, Philemon Manamela was seen on Simon Vermooten Road nearly three weeks ago.

A Mamelodi family has asked the public for their help in finding their brother who has been missing since the beginning of October.

Philemon Manamela (30) went missing on October 1, police earlier said.

In an earlier interaction with Rekord, his cousin Pennelope Basson, said Manamela had left his Mamelodi East home on Friday afternoon but did not return.

“He was at home when we left for work on Friday morning,” she said.

“When we returned, he wasn’t home and that night he didn’t come back or call.

“According to some reports, Philemon was seen on Simon Vermooten Road on Friday afternoon,” she said. Anyone with information on Manamela’s whereabouts has been asked to contact Rebecca on 076 701 2459 or Basson on 067 043 4500.
