NOTICE: Pretoria water cuts postponed

Planned water cuts that would have affected nearly 60 suburbs in Pretoria will be held back.

The Tshwane metro has postponed repairwork on a bulk pipe in the east of Pretoria that would have resulted in almost 60 suburbs being without any water tomorrow.

They blamed the postponement on “challenges relating to the unavailability of spares and materials to carry out the work”.

The repairs to a leaking 1 400mm diameter bulk pipe along January Masilela Drive was originally scheduled for Wednesday, 20 October 2021.

The metro could not supply a new date for the planned repairwork.
