Body of man (31) found in Sosha, police investigates
"The lifeless and naked body was found with wounds all over by a passerby who informed the police."
The naked body of a 31-year-old man was found near a house in block PP2 squatter camp on Friday morning, according to Rietgat police.
“The body was found around 06:00. Preliminary investigation suggests that the deceased could have suffered multiple injuries before he passed on,” said Rietgat police spokesperson Stephen Maluleka.
Maluleka said the body was discovered by a passerby who informed the police.

While the cause of death is unknown at this stage, he said mob justice could not be ruled out.
“The station calls on the community to come forward with the information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects that could have committed this heinous deed.”
Maluleka said the body has been identified by next of kin.
He said a murder case is being investigated by the the Rietgat police following the incident.
