Prayer session for Len Cloete held in Pretoria

“We ask that God will breathe His life into Len, that His name will be glorified and His Will be done.”

A prayer session for Len Cloete was held by his family, friends and staff on Saturday in the east of Pretoria. The prayer session took place at the Collage Christian Church in Elarduspark.

Cloete (59), the owner of a gym in Rietvleirand, was shot in the head during an altercation with police at Muldersdrift Misty Hills hotel on November 13.

Cloete has since been in a coma after he was shot by a police officer after he snatched a gun from another officer during an argument.

A video of the incident went viral across social media, showing the tragedy unfolding and its graphic aftermath.

It was a moment of unity that those close to him could come together as one community in fellowship for Cloete.

His wife, Chantal said that “Jesus offers life in abundance”.

“We ask that God will breathe His life into Len, that His name will be glorified and His Will be done.

“We ask and receive it, in Jesus’ name,” she said. Chantal thanked all who attended the prayer session.

Blue and white balloons were released for Cloete’s healing.
