Two suspected drug dealers were arrested following a tip-off from the community on Wednesday morning. Laudium police together with Tshwane metro police and security officers swiftly went to the home Kashmir Crescent, where drugs were suspected to be sold, said police spokesperson Sergeant Simon Chokoe.
“They arrived at the house and found a 44-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man.
The home was searched and both were found to be in possession of substances suspected to be CAT wrapped in a plastic.” Chokoe said the two were immediately arrested for possession of drugs. “Police will continue to leave no stone unturned to ensure that our communities are and feel safe.”
Laudium police station commander Lieutenant-Colonel Margaret Nkwane applauded members for continuous hard work and success. She further encouraged members of the communities to continue partnering with the police on fighting crime by calling on 08600 10111 or contact local police.
The two arrested will appear before the Atteridgeville magistrate’s court soon.
