A Centurion family has asked the public for their help in finding their brother who has been missing since Christmas Eve.
Francois Strobos (38) was last seen on December 24, when he left the Lyttelton shelter he was staying in, said his sister Elize.
Strobos is 1.75m tall, with receding brown hair.
“He was last seen wearing shorts, a hoody and sandals. He has schizophrenia and has not used his medication for the last few days,” said Elize.
“He might be confused and disoriented, with his speech sounding as if he is drunk or on drugs. He is not dangerous, but vulnerable, very ill and needs urgent help.”

She said that Strobos had little to no cash on him and left all his belongings at the shelter.
At the time of publication, the family had not opened a case at the Lyttelton police station.
