Dumped body in dam still a mystery

The body was mutilated with its head, arms, legs and private parts missing.

Kameeldrift police are calling on the community to assist following the discovery of a body of an unknown man in Kameeldrift on Monday night.
The body was found dumped at Riverside Estate, Roodeplaat dam.
 “It is reported that on Monday around 23:00, a member of the public saw a vehicle parked on the bridge in Kameelfontein Road. It looked like something was dumped from the vehicle into the dam,” said police spokesperson Constable Lethabo Mashiloane.
The eyewitness called the police and notified them about the incident.
“The police quickly responded and upon arrival, they recovered the frozen body of a man wrapped in plastic. The body was mutilated with its head, arms, legs and private parts missing.”

The Kameeldrift police are calling on residents who have information to come forward and help police to resolve this case.

No arrests have been made so far.
