Two pedestrians were struck and killed in the aftermath of a collision between two cars in Pretoria east on Wednesday.

Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said paramedics responded around 17:30 yesterday to reports of an accident scene in the intersection of Lynnwood Road and Albeth Street in Pretoria east.

“The incident involved two vehicles that collided before running over two pedestrians.

“Both pedestrians were declared dead on arrival whilst the occupants of both vehicles sustained moderate injuries.”
