Cold and windy weather to persist into Wednesday

The cold weather will be accompanied by windy conditions.

Cold weather accompanied by wind is expected to continue to buffet Pretoria until Wednesday, June 23.

SA weather service forecaster Pokelo Chiloane told Rekord that residents should expect dry and windy conditions to persist through Wednesday.

She said Tshwane will experience a minimum of 8°C on Wednesday and a maximum of 18°C.

“There is, however, a 30% chance of a drop in temperature on Thursday with rain and thunderstorms,” she said.

Chiloane added that these conditions are normal for the winter season.
