Good Samaritan offers to fix woman’s teeth
Muller already has her first dentist appointment to see what the next step is to assist with the condition of her teeth.
A Good Samaritan dentist has offered to help a 52-year-old Elandspoort woman, who is self-conscious about the state of her teeth, for free after she appeared in an article on Rekord’s website.
Rekord did a story about Thelma Muller last week in the hope that someone would reach out to the family to offer to do the necessary dental procedure, and voila!
Muller already has her first dentist appointment to see what the next step is to assist with her teeth.
“This is exactly the news my husband and I needed. Although I am a bit nervous going forward, I hope that I can finally not have that constant feeling that people sometimes look down on me and I will never be ashamed to be around people anymore,” Thelma said.
One can hear in her voice that she is ecstatic about the news.

“All I can do is to thank the Lord that someone has reached out to us,” said Carlene Smith of Careson Angels, which assists the Muller family with food and clothing.
Dr Keila Naiker, of Wee Smile Dental, saw the post on Rekord’s social media page and phoned Smith.
“The first step will be to do a proper check-up and do the necessary fillings, or extractions if needed. Soon after everything has been checked, a possible prosthesis needs to be done,” said Naiker.
