A mother and two of her children made a narrow escape when their house in Centurion was engulfed in flames on Friday morning.
Cert-SA paramedics that responded to the incident said they arrived at the house in the Reeds around 10:00.
“On arrival it was found that several rooms of the house were on fire and thick smoke was billowing from the house.
“A mother and her two small children managed to escape the inferno. The mother sustained a minor burn to her hand and was assessed by medical personnel on the scene.”
Investigations to determine the cause of the fire were expected to be conducted.
“Thanks to Emer-G-Med, Emergency Medical Solution, Tshwane Emergency Services Department, Sector 2 Wierdabrug CPF, Fidelity ADT, Monitor Net, And Scorpion Risk Services for the assistance on the scene,”- Cert-SA said.
