Eight-week-old baby dies in Moreletapark car crash
The other three patients were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries ranging from moderate to serious.

An eight-week-old baby was killed in a motor car accident in Moreletapark on Thursday afternoon.
The multi-vehicle accident took place on Wekker Street when a light vehicle and a truck collided.
“On arrival we found two adults and two children receiving treatment,” said Casper Visser of Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit (VEMRU).
“While assessing the patients, it was found that an infant (eight weeks old) had succumbed to his/her injuries.
“The other three patients were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries ranging from moderate to serious.”
Garsfontein SAPS, Tshwane metro police and the SAPS accident unit were also on the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
