Reminder | Stage 1 and 3 load-shedding for Friday
The power utility said that stage 1 load-shedding would be implemented during the day until 16:00 this afternoon. This will be followed by stage 3 load-shedding until midnight.
Eskom has implemented a combination of stage 1 and 3 load-shedding today, Friday June 30.

The City of Tshwane provided the following Friday load-shedding schedule for June 30:
Stage 1
05:00 to 06:30 – Group 6
06:00 to 08:30 – Group 7
08:00 to 10:30 – Group 8
10:00 to 12:30 – Group 9
12:00 to 14:30 – Group 10
14:00 to 16:30 – Group 11
Stage 3 load-shedding
16:00-18:30 – Group 12,16,4
18:00-20:30 – Group 13,1,5
20:00-22:30 – Group 14,2,6
22:00-00:30 – Group 15,3,7
Eskom urged citizens to use electricity sparingly, including switching off geysers from 17:00 to 21:00.
It said that this helps lower demand and alleviates pressure on the power system, contributing to lower stages of load-shedding.
