Laerskool Raslouw treats residents to its annual Spring Market Day

The market aims to sharpen learners’ entrepreneurial skills and bring the community together.

Laerskool Raslouw welcomed the new season by hosting its annual Spring market day in Centurion this past weekend.

The market serves as an entrepreneurial project for the Grade 7 learners who had to come up with ideas to market to attendees.

Head of Laerskool Raslouw, Pieter van der Dussen said that the day served as a coming together for the school and community.

“A school is a community, so it’s good to have parents getting to know each other, the kids are having a good time as well and having people outside of the community getting to know the school is wonderful,” Van der Dussen stated.

“It takes a village to raise a child, so if the community comes together, then the school will be strong.”
