The Voortrekker parkrun, one of Pretoria’s most iconic parkruns is back, with stunning views and an accessible route perfect for runners and walkers of all levels.

There have been some exciting changes since the last run at the monument, especially the inclusion of post-run coffee.

Skool op Wiele Koffiehuis is located where the run used to start, a perfect little restaurant for post-run coffee and breakfast.

Uitspan restaurant is next to the steps leading to the monument (at the start/end points), offering some old favourites like roosterkoek, boere breakfasts and more.

The parkrun is a free event that relies on volunteers, so to find out how you can get involved, be on the lookout at the events.

For the parkrun entrance to the monument will be free, with the barcoded registration getting you an entrance stamp.
