Nine hours power shutdown next week Tuesday in Waterkloof
Octans, Delphinus, Johan Rissik, Carina, Sanford, Club, Grus, Taurus and Raymond are some of the streets which will be affected by the power shutdown during repair work.
Residents in parts of Waterkloof Ridge and Waterkloof must brace themselves for a nine-hour-long power supply shutdown for repairs.
According to Tshwane spokesperson Lindela Mashigo, the city will on Tuesday, January 30 carry out repairs to the Aries substation in Waterkloof.
The work is expected to be from 08:00 to 17:00.
“In the interest of safety, the power supply will be shut down during this period,” Mashigo said.

He said customers are advised to treat all electricity supply points as live at all times.
“Tshwane apologises profusely for the inconvenience that may be caused due to the above-mentioned repair work.”
The outage will affect residents in the following streets:
– Octans Avenue
– Delphinus Street
– Johann Rissik Drive
– Rigel South Avenue (from Aries Street towards the south)
– Carina Street
– Sanford Street
– Raymond Street
– Taurus Avenue
– Club Avenue
– Eridanus Street
– Regulus Street
– Grus Street
